This time of year, every single store you walk into will try to entice you with the latest gift sets, advent calendars and special offers. Like a true beauty-holic, I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time in recent days searching all my favourite beauty and lifestyle brands for the best gifts.
I have put together a list of my 5 favourite gift ideas, featuring all my favourite brands and some of their best selling products at great prices. So keep reading if you’re looking for some inspiration!
Everything you could possibly need in terms of makeup, all in one. This gorgeous palette comes equipped with 6 eye shadows, 2 blushes, 4 lip colours, a highlighter and a couple of mini brushes encased in a stunning black and gold palette. Dior knows how to do luxury, and this palette is 100% luxurious!
I love the versatility, and I love all the shades. The lip colours give you everything from a soft pink shade appropriate for work, to a deep kissable red. The eye shadows offer a great range of neutrals with some matte and some sparkly shades – again, the perfect palette to take you from work day to evening party.
As is usually the case with palettes, the brushes included are pretty rubbish and not really fit for purpose but I find the lip brush to be reasonable. This palette is ideal for the busy woman who needs an easy to answer to makeup, but who appreciates a high quality item. Dior always delivers.
A perfect duo of blush and lipgloss, complemented by a high quality Bobbi Brown cheeck brush to help you achieve a perfect glow, ideal for party season!
I adore the shades of this lipgloss and blush. I think they are universally flattering and you can use both shades mixed together or separately. What’s there not to love? A safe purchase for any age and any skin tone.
Alpha H is one of my absolute all time favourite skincare brands, and there’s a good reason for it. Their Liquid Gold is a cult favourite and all their products are reasonably priced whilst also offering real results.
So I couldn’t resist including their A List Kit in this list – it includes a cleanser, Liquid Gold, an exfoliator, SPF and an eye cream so you’ve got all your essential skincare products in one handy set.
This is perfect for anyone from skincare hoarder to a new starter who needs all the basisc. The products included are good for all skin types and can help with anti-ageing, dark spots, dry skin and acne. A perfect all-rounder!
ESPA is a British luxury skincare brand that is used in countless spas all over the world and has won numerous awards. They are masters at producing high quality products, using natural ingredients that also aid with overall wellness and relaxation – a spa in a bottle!
This set is so amazing that I purchased it for 2 years in a row now, and it is worth over double the price. It contains a luxurious silk sleep mask, a mini candle, a bath oil to help with relaxation, and two amazing face products – the Tri-Active Advanced Night Booster and the Overnight Hydration Therapy which, when used together, act as powerful overnight face masks that tackle anti-ageing, dryness and dehydration.
Everything in this set is designed to not only work wonders for your skin, but to helps with relaxation and wellness, which is a massive bonus during the cold, dark nights of winter. This set is ideal for anyone, but especially suitable for those with ageing skin, dry or dehydrated skin, and anyone who needs a little help to relax before bed or unwind after a long, hard day.
For anyone who isn’t so much into makeup or skincare, a home scenting gift set is ideal especially at this time of year when we spend a lot more time indoors. The White Company is a brilliant brand for homeware and home accessories. This set is one of my absolute favourites – it could not have a more apt name!
This scent is a warming mixture of cinnamon, orange and clove creating an ideal cosy winter mood. It contains a candle, reed diffuser and a room spray. They can all be used together, or you can use one in different rooms. Personally I find these to smell quite strongly and last for ages so I usually use the candle in my bedroom, the reed diffuser in my living room and the room spray for all other areas (e.g. hallway, bathroom, walk in wardrobe).
